My very best buddy died recently. He had run away and I recently found out he had been run over by a truck.

I'm going to miss him...

The way he'd use to sit on my lap even when I'd push him off a million times.

And the way he'd steal my socks and line them neatly in the hall by my room.

And the way he'd greet me every day when I came home from school.

And the way he'd sneeze on everything I owned.

And the way he'd chase after things that didn't exist and run into the walls.

And the way he'd wake me up in the morning and lick my nose and sleep on my tummy.

And the way he'd jump on my lap and bite my chin.

And the way he'd scream at nothing in the middle of the night.

And the way he'd was terrified of the vacuum and would hide behind me when mom turned it on.

And the way I'd hold him in a blanket like a baby and he hated it but let me do it anyway.
